Summer Learning Journey - Should Bullfighting Be Banned?
For this activity I had to decide whether or not I think bullfighting should be banned. I opinion is that, it should be banned because it is very dangerous for the toreros as they could get injured. It is also dangerous because the bulls can die. I am against bull fighting and I recon it should be banned.

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your opinion about a ban on bullfighting. I entirely agree with what you have said! Well done on considering the perspectives of both the matadors and the bulls.
Bullfighting is an extremely dangerous sport, with many matadors having experienced severe injuries, and some have even died whilst bullfighting. On top of that however, the bulls are horribly mistreated in the lead up to a bullfight in order to make it easier for the matadors which I think is very sad!
Whenever we travel to a new country, it is always important to be respectful of their culture and traditions. In saying that however, it is also important that we don't condone any kind of activity that so actively encourages animal abuse like bullfighting does.
